In August, we’ll be switching to the newly rewritten LibGuides 2.0 from Springshare. I’ve been working for a few months with the LibGuides committee on preparing for the transition, which involves two things:
I’m happy to say that a big part of the first task is complete. I’ve updated the LibGuides 2.0 homepage and guide templates to match our library’s website. The goal is a seamless experience for folks using guides in the future.
Folks who have had LibGuides accounts in the past should have received an email with information on accessing LibGuides 2.0. If you haven’t, drop Alicia or me an email and we’ll get you straightened out.
Important dates to remember:
I’ll be holding a bunch of drop-in work sessions with folks from the LibGuides committee in between content migration and our go live date so folks with LibGuides content can get some help optimizing their content. I’ll schedule those dates as we get closer.
As always, drop me a line if you have any questions!
