Summon Status Updates

This morning the ProQuest/Ex Libris juggurnaut launched a new real-time status tool for Summon, our discovery layer. I know that the ERMS team and I will be monitoring this status tool closely, but wanted to let everyone know about it in case you wanted to subscribe to keep up-to-date on Summon issues, releases, and down times.

Below is the original release about the tool. Let me know if you have any questions.

I am happy to announce that you can sign up for timely notifications and view up-to-date status updates for Summon through the Ex Libris System Status page at http://status.exlibrisgroup.com. This site will streamline your ability to receive information regarding scheduled maintenance, system availability, known performance issues, service interruptions, and more.

No login is required to use this site. We encourage you to use it in the following ways:

  • Review the dates, details, and status of scheduled maintenance activities
  • Identify if a service interruption is reported, being addressed, or resolved by our engineering team

If you also want to receive email notifications for Summon status updates you can do so in just a few easy steps at http://status.exlibrisgroup.com:

  • Select Summon as the system
  • Click on the envelope icon below the email alerts column
  • Enter your email address and institution name
